External Events

We have been a part of many events and activities to create awareness of HPCs to the Research Software commnunity.

• Weronika Filinger presented at the RSE Workshop at SC22.
• Sponsored the events and gave several talks at RSECon 2022 and RSECon 2023.
• Weronika Fillinger and Juan Rodriguez Herrera gave a talk on ‘Training design and delivery: ARCHER2 and UNIVERSE-HPC’ at Durham HPC Days 2023
• Weronika Fillinger and Jeremy Cohen gave talks and ran a BoF “Understanding the Skills and Pathways Behind Research Software Training” at ISC23. Jeremy also gave an interview for the ISC Video.
• Martin Robinson and Fergus Cooper prepared and delivered a 1 week course for Schmidt Postdoctoral Fellows in Oxford, the course was named ‘Introduction to Software Engineering’.
• Neil Chue Hong and Jeremy Cohen attended the PASC23 Conference in June 2023, they also gave talks in ‘RSE in HPC mini-symposium’.
